Direct and coordinate office services, facilities and related activities, including developing and supervising programs for the maximum utilization of services and equipment. Eco-friendly initiatives and green awareness required. Responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of the office in this 48,000 Sq. Ft. Space.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage 30 Administrative and Support staff in nine New York City locations, Office Services Manager, Conference Facilities Coordinator and Mailroom
• Manage office operations in a cost effective manner
• Responsible for the facilities day-to-day operations such as distributing building access keys and back-up to security access cards, etc.
• Supervise maintenance of and alteration to office areas and equipment
• Maintain plan for fire evacuation and disaster response and serve as Office facility Emergency Response Coordinator
• Green initiative knowledge a requirement
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
• Ability to supervise non-exempt administrative staff
• Working knowledge of office processes
• Ability to negotiate effectively
• Excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills
• Familiarity with local building codes and OSHA regulations
• Familiarity with all current health and safety regulations
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Well developed interpersonal and excellent written and oral communication skills
• Computer literacy, specifically MS Word and Excel, Access a plus
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• Bachelors degree
• 5-7 years previous office and operations management experience including forecasting, scheduling and real-time operations management
• Analytical skills and statistical background a plus
